BIOGRAPHY

Kuno Becker is a Mexican actor, born on January 14, 1978 in Mexico City, best known for his participation in the soap operas Soñadoras (1998) and Primer amor… a mil per hora (2000), where he shared credits with Anahí, now wife of politician Manuel Velasco. Originally, Kuno Becker focused his efforts toward music and for several years studied violin professionally. At the age of 17, Becker entered the Televisa Artistic Education Center and in 1996 he obtained his first role in the soap opera Para todo la vida . Kuno’s first step was to make a name for himself on the small screen, a goal he achieved thanks to the various soap operas that signed him as a primetime heartthrob.

In 1998, the actor made the leap to the big screen with the film The First Night and, later, he got his first leading role in The Cannibal’s Daughter , alongside Cecilia Roth. In 2005 Kuno entered the Hollywood film industry and achieved international fame with the film Gol! and its sequels Gol II: Living the Dream (2007) and Gol! III (2009). Returning to national cinema, Kuno appeared in the Mexican film Te presenteo a Laura (2010), and later had a special appearance in the comedy From Prada to Nada (2011).

Recently, Kuno Becker starred in Cinco de Mayo: The Battle (2013) and Pánico 5 Bravo (2013), a film with which he made his debut behind the camera. Becker also participated in the remake of the series Dallas, giving life to the character of Drew Ramos in 2013 and 2014.
